Unitarian Universalism is a progressive religion born of the Christian and Jewish traditions. It is based on personal conscience, thought, and responsible action as the foundation for religious practice rather than creeds and dogma. Unitarian Universalists emphasize doing good in this life for its own sake rather than in hopes of rewards in an afterlife. UUs focus on the here and now.

Our self-governing congregations are comprised of seekers of truth and understanding in religion. We keep an open mind to the religious questions that people have struggled with in all times and places. We believe that personal experience, conscience, and reason should be the final authorities in religion. We honor and celebrate the traditions of all the world's great religions.
